Hyosung Halo II available Q2 2015
The Nautilus Hyosung Halo II Series ATM was released at the 2015 ATMIA show in Vegas this year. The Hyosung Halo II was designed in response to customer feed back, on improvements to some of Hyosung’s other models- most notably security enhancements.
Some of the notable enhancements the Hyosung Halo II series boasts are a UL 291 business hours safe with reinforced vulnerable areas on the cabinet, as well as a heavier gauge safe cabinet. It will also feature a front metal plate for cassette protection as well as a taller frame with a reinforced metal cabinet. It also features a “no spill” angled top- which will really improve the ATM in bars and restaurants- so patrons can not rest a drink on top of the ATM. The Hyosung Halo II features backwards compatibility with most older model ATMs, so from a parts perspective much of the old parts will be interchangeable. The Hyosung Halo II features improvements to their tcp/ip communication protocol with the addition of a Transport Layer Security (TLS) network encryption for protection.
The Hyosung Halo II has similar eye catching looks as the Halo series, with the color changing keyboard, but features a slightly even more sleek design- if it could get any more sleek.
The Hyosung Halo II is expected to be released sometime in Q2 of 2015 at a similar price point to the Halo and 2700 series of ATMs.
